Core Beliefs

We assert that God’s purpose is to save the lost man, to be worshipped by man, and to build a body of believers in the image of His Son and that the Holy Scriptures are His revealed will and as such the sole inerrant rule of faith and practice.

WE BELIEVE in Sola scriptura: That Scripture alone is authoritative for the faith and practice of the Christian. The Bible is complete, authoritative, and true. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).

WE BELIEVE in The one true God, creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind as he has revealed himself in the Holy Scriptures (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10,11).

WE BELIEVE in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, his virgin birth (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31,35), sinless life (Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22), his redemptive work on the cross (1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21); His bodily resurrection from the dead which was and is the evidence of the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord (Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:39; 1 Corinthians 15:4) and His exaltation to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9,11; 2:33; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:3).

WE BELIEVE that man was created good and upright and in the image of God but has in his own volition sinned thus physically and spiritually separated from God. (Genesis 1:26,27; 2:17; 3:6; Romans 5:12-19).

WE BELIEVE that the only hope of salvation of man is through his full acknowledgement of the Christ’s substitutionary work on the cross.

WE BELIEVE in holding firm to the ordinances of the church which include water baptism by immersion as taught by the scriptures (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47,48; Romans 6:4) and partaking of the Lord’s table (Holy Communion) as remembrance of his suffering and death (1 Corinthians 11:26).

WE BELIEVE in The Blessed Hope which is the is the wonderful assurance that God will extend His benefits to us and that Jesus Christ will return as taught in the Scriptures (Titus 2:12-13; Romans 5:5).

WE BELIEVE that the final judgment cannot be avoided thus we will all have a divine appointment with our Creator who will be the perfect judge of all (Hebrew 9:27).
